I have been busy with my volunteer work for the American Cancer Society through the Relay For Life program. I am going to be even more busy with it as my Event Chair and I are going to be helping another smaller Relay event get started. I am honored to have been chosen to help! I work hard being a cancer survivor and I workeven harder for those fighting and also for my loved ones and dear friends that have passed on.

I recieved news from a friends son that my friend is in ICU and on support. I won't go into the gory details he told me, I know that she is not going to be walking or getting wheeled out into a wheelchair out the hospital doors this time around.

It is snowing here we might have blizzard conditions later in the day. I love big snow and blizzards so this is a good day weather wise for me :) Shadow and I went out for a walk just at the beginnings of it it was nice to watch the big flakes flutter to the ground it was good to get out and clear my head for a little while. Right now the flakes are smaller and it is a little bit windy with occasional wind gusts. I have 2 pine trees in front of my living room windows and my desk is right next to the windows. The birds love the pine trees and when I look out the window I see the birds hunkering down in the trees. On sunny days they are just singing away like they are having a party in the trees. I really enjoy watching them :)

I am excited to be doing another 5% Challenge that started yesterday! This is my 3rd 5% challenge and my first as a Shooting Star!
