Short but Sweet NSV. GS Cookies and Fro/Yo

Sunday, February 24, 2013

Yesterday, bought some Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies. (I was a Girl Scout many years ago so always like to get at least one box) To go with it, got some Ben and Jerry's frozen Greek yogurt. I opened the GS cookies and took 4, gave the rest of the sleeve to SO. I had a 1/2 C portion of the fro/yo, told SO he could have the rest. I budgeted this desert in. I guess this is how normal people eat!

Funny that my DH and I just went grocery shopping and when leaving this very sweet little Girl Scout asked, "Would you like to buy some GS cookies?" .......... I always feel terrible if I say, "No thanks" .............. but before I piped up my DH said, "Sure we do!" and he bought a box of choc. chip cookies ................... He gave em to me and then when we got home I saw another sweet little girl outside and asked her if SHE might like them .............. She thanked us kindly and I was off the hook! Esp. after just finishing today's blog about "Not allowing bad snacks into the house!" ..... I did not want to have to EAT MY WORDS!!! ....... (not this soon for sure!) emoticon And once again, emoticon for the comment on my blog! Jan

Thin Mints are my favorite, and you are disciplined. emoticon The cookies no problem, but the fro yo would be another story! emoticon

WTG! Big NSV to be able to have your treat in a controlled portion. I'm so proud of you! I may have some Fitbit questions for you in the days to come. Thanks for the encouragement! Keep up the good work! Spark on! emoticon emoticon
