(Last updated 2013-03-02)
I haven't written very much about week to week accomplishments, because mine, since joining SP, have been limited to relatively consistent weight loss, and that's all covered by the tracking. (I'm not complaining, I've been happier with my results from joing SP.)
Yesterday, however, I had a real breakthrough (I hope) in one of my original long-term goals that has completely eluded me for 89 weeks. I walked for a total of 65 minutes -- about 4 times longer than just a few weeks ago, twice as fast, just under 8 times as far, and with very little discomfort.
I'm hoping this is not just some kind of fluke, and that I didn't overdo it.
What will I attribute this to? The following finally catching up with me (in a positive way)?:
- 89 weeks of weight loss?
- 66 weeks of exercise?
- Recent surgery to repair my abdominal wall?
- Sleeping on my back for the last 6 weeks for the first time in my life?
- 10 weeks of concerted leg exercises to compensate for neuropathy in my lower legs?
I'm trying not to be too excited, but I'd pretty much "forgotten" about (but not given up on) this goal.
