If you read my blog yesterday, you will know that I woke up at 5:30, I had some quality time with my elliptical (an hour to be exact), and then I wrote my blog for the day. I did, in fact, complete Bob Harper's Pure Burn Super Strength video (around an hour of torture, if you have tried it before...still don't understand why Jillian has the reputation as the "mean" one), to bring my fitness minutes total to 120 for the day, half cardio and half strength training. Yay me.
I woke up at 5:30 again this morning. I had a massive headache. I felt like crap. I made my coffee and some water. I took some Excedrin. I waited for a while. The headache subsided. Husband had to go in to work for a couple of hours, so as he was showering and getting ready, I dragged myself onto the elliptical. I worked out for an hour. I had some breakfast (it wasn't soup this time, though, a whole wheat bagel and 2 scrambled eggs). I wondered if I was truly badass enough to work out for 2 hours 2 days in a row. I decided I was and did the Totally Ripped Core video and the bonus workout for a total of 60 minutes of fun (curse you, plank series).
I wanted to run today, but the weather has been rainy and icky and gross. While I don't mind running in it, I don't want to drag the little one (who has no say) out in such conditions, so elliptical would have to do. I am hoping for better running conditions tomorrow. Maybe I need a dreadmill... Eating was not as tidy today, as husband made some ribs for dinner, but they were delicious.
