Taking a day "off" from "exercise"

I had totally planned to get a workout in today but this morning I ended up taking one of my kids to volunteer at our community breakfast and then ran errands. By the time I got home, I realized it was a beautiful day it was time for yard work. I've spent 2hrs moving wood to better locations in my yard and stacking it better and making kindling. Quick lunch and then I'll be back out in the front this time removing plants I don't like and putting in flowers and pretty things I do (and praying they don't die). So I'm going with all this yard work is my exercise for the day because I'm certainly getting my heart rate up and heck, you can find all these activities under exercise in the spark tracker and my armband says they count too. I can get cool stuff done around my house and have it count as exercise! Woot!!!

On the food front, I did better yesterday than the couple of days before. Just barely stayed in range but hey, I stayed in it. Today is the day I know I tend to go outside of my range but I'm going to try tweaking a few things so it's at least not as far out of range as normal (control my popcorn servings during our movie night might be a good place to start...just a thought LOL).

Ok, back to the garden I go!

Good for you, recognizing that yard work is bodywork, too.
