I have been working on a few streaks, one is an exercise streak. I have been working out every day for over 140 day with out stopping. Today I have been feeling a little sick and have not gotten out of my pajamas but that has not stopped me from exercising. I am not going to break my exercise streak.
I started out after breakfast doing 50 wall push up and then did 50 one arm at a time jumping jacks. I then logged in to Spark People to see what exercise video was featured for the day. Today's video was a 9 minute seated shoulder workout with weights. I thought that was just what I needed so I got my 5 pound weights and started doing it. I soon found out my strength was not up to par and switched over to 3 pound weights. I finished the workout and felt better that I had done it.
I am not a gong ho fitness freak I just feel that it is good for my body to do some kind of work out every day. I ride my exercise bike, do exercise videos and take long brisk walks most ever day. I am working on getting healthier every day. I have been doing this on and off for a little over a year, before that you were lucky to get me to walk to get the mail once a day and that was just down the hall.
I am working on a streak that some day hopefully will be 365 day long, that is my goal. I am not going to break my streak for any thing if I can help it and if it dose not work out that way and for some reason I can't exercise one day I will just rest and start my streak all over again.
