Short and sweet

Saturday, February 23, 2013

Not sure how sweet this is but it will be short. The pain is subsiding a bit in my hands. They are a bit better every day. That is good news!! Finally, I can tell real improvement!
I seem to have put my life on hold waiting on baby! Actually, the entire family is at the end of their rope waiting for this!!! I have not exercised all week. I am totally focused on getting as much done around the house as possible before I go to daughter's. Not sure how long I will be staying (2-4 days--depending on how long she wants me to stay when she gets home). Our plan then is I will come home late afternoon, sleep in my own bed and then head back to her house in the morning. We will do this until she gets back in routine. She is like her dad--never slows down-- so usually it doesn't take her long after birth to be back on track. Of course, this is 3rd and she is older. emoticon It's all good--I'm retired and able to do this for her.
So my eating is good, no exercise but laundry is caught up and house is fairly clean. Ready for baby!!! If she hasn't delivered this weekend they will schedule an induction. Doctor wants baby out before Friday. So at least we know this is her last pregnant weekend. I'm sort of hoping for the birth on Monday which would be my mom's birthday! I never dreamed that would be a possibility!!!!

The wait is almost over! Mine is still about 2 months away, but still anxious! Too bad she's not close. She wants me there for the birth, so will be tricky trying to figure out when to go unless she's induced as it's a 5-6 hour drive. MOST 1st babies take at least that long, but lots don't. Can't wait to hear!

What is up with that Baby??!! Things must be too plush in there or something. My son couldn't wait to escape from my uterus.

I'm so glad you are finally on the mend and you have a clean house too! I want a neat, clean house!!

The waiting game. I had hoed lour second son would come on the 28th of February but he was induced on February 15th. I had requested the 14th but so did too many others,
I am so happy you are mending well. That is great because now you are in better shape to help. HUGS Pat in Maine.

When I went for my 6th grandchild I ended up staying 3 weeks!!! Just sayin...They closed and moved into a new house right after the baby was born and my suitcase got stuck at the old house. So I didn't have anything but my medicine for 3 weeks.

I am glad the pain is less and you are getting better. The waiting for the baby must be hard but at least you have accomplished some things in the meantime. I will hope the baby will come on your mother's birthday.

How weird is this. I'm waiting fo my son's baby to arrive too and if the mother doesn't have him by Tuesday, they will induce too. Cyrus was suppose to grace us with his presence on Feb. 17. They don't live in the same town, so will go visit them the weekend after they get home :)

I'm glad your hands are feeling better and envious that you live so near your grandchildren! My two, ages 16 months and 3 weeks, live in Seattle!! emoticon
I am pretty sure you are anxious to love on that new baby as well as the other two!

Thank you for your encouragement and support! emoticon
