So the annual chili festival is going on now for three days. DH and I had to go and support a friend of ours who was entered into the margarita tasting contest. There were 10 entries so we tasted all 10. Some were very interesting and good...like the one with a slight almond flavor and some were like not so good with hot chili and honey. But fun just the same. DH and I walked around to many of the fun booths with really creative things. Then we left and DH wanted to go out to his favorite place for chicken wings. So I had one beer and like 4 chicken wings, a few fries. Then around dinner time (like 7pm) I ate the rest of the chocolates that my girlfriend gave me (4 pieces) and that made my stomach upset....haven't had that much sweet/sugar/chocolate in a long time.....so I ate saltine crackers for dinner So yesterday, aside from my heatlhy smoothy for breakfast, I ate junk the rest of the day. So even though the calories weren't too bad, the food was and the scale was up a pound. I am sure if I eat on plan today that will be gone tomorrow. But I believe now it's not just the "salt" but the type of food and beer is most likely a reactive food for me. Yesterday I only had one. It still didn't taste as good as usual so I didn't have a second one which I normally do. I am supposed to go to a Quinceañera (girl 15th birthday) party with my girlfriend today but I am going to pass. At first her DH wasn't going to go with her and she didn't want to go alone(it's her maid's daughter), but now her DH is going so I don't need to go with her. Just don't need to go and eat crap.
