Here is the problem:

I got a Kindle Fire 2 for Christmas but unfortunately it will not play any SparkPeople video. My honey has a Kindle Fire 1st edition and it plays them just fine. We checked and made sure all the settings were the same for mine and they are, it just won't play. I have done everything I know to do including scanning the message board on Amazon and on Sparkpeople for this specific problem and did everything it says to do - any clue as to why this won't work?

When I load a sparkpeople vlog, it shows a gray box (where the video would show) and a puzzle piece in the middle where the play symbol should be. Touching it or double touching that puzzle piece does nothing. I have gone under applications - enabled java, cleared my browser history and my cache, downloaded adobe but it would not load. what else should I try? Anyone out there have this problem? Can you help me?

If you just got it on Christmas, calling the store or the manufacturer should help you.

The platform the kindle uses is called SILK and I am not sure it will allow another browser, but I can try that. Thanks.

I am not real familiar with Kindles but your issue is with Flash on the browser. It is corrupt. Sounds like you may be using Firefox or Google as your browser? I may be way off with the browser but try and download another browser or troubleshoot your current browsers flash plugin. You should be able to uninstall the flash plugin and re-install it from Adobe but you have to uninstall first before re-installing. If that doesn't work, then download and try another browser.

And if all else fails, see how you can "reformat" or flash the kindle. This will erase everything you have and put it back the way you purchased it but you can back up everything before doing this.

I work on computers :) Hope this helps!
