While this week was wonderful in some areas, it was not a good FOOD week for me. Most days my schedule changed from its normal routine & the good foods were just not there for a myriad of reasons. In some cases, poor planning left me without a healthy food and by the end of the week the money was simply not there to purchase the good stuff. My weekly weigh in reflected it too. I gained 1.5lbs.
But just like any other setback there are times when we have to regroup, recharge & restart. I'm going into this weekend feeling hopeful but yucky. The raspberries in my smoothie had lots of seeds and scratched my throat so much it's hard to swallow much of anything. Since I had been eating well this week, the sudden intake of junk has left me feeling, bloated, constipated and sluggish. I need to detox and get my system back on track.
I just wanted to let everyone know that there won't always be sunshine, the journey isn't quick and is not without obstacles. Just stick with it. If you fall, get back up. If you indulge or eat more than the suggested portion size, just start again with the next meal. If you slack off in exercise, pick up where you can at the next opportunity. Just don't give up. I won't.
