Where's the Panic Button!?!

Today has been very good in terms of calories taken in. As of right now I sit within my limit of intake. However, I'm really banging on the panic button right now, because I have finished my dinner, and I am STILL HUNGRY!! All I have room left for is an apple, and it is like the LAST thing I want right now! What I really want is my spinach dip and tortilla chips and chocolate... lots and lots of chocolate... and more spinach dip... mmm.... spinach dip... Okay, I'm back! Where was I? Oh yeah... PANICKING HERE! Ugh! I just gotta hang in there. Maybe drink some more water to fill up the empty space before I eat my apple. Any encouragement my dear Sparkers would be most appreciated at this point! Thanks for keeping up! Stay posted!

    Usually when I get that hungry it means I am about to drop alot of weight. I eat dill pickles when I want alot of chocolate. I don't know why it works for me, but most of the time it does.

I know they have some popcorn recipes on here where you can make air-popped popcorn and throw a little butter and mini chocolate chips on it. That might take the edge off your hunger.

    @NANCYPAT1: I actually had ziti for dinner... my issue was that after I ate my delicious ziti, I was still crazy hungry. Like I-could-eat-a-horse hungry! I do agree, I need to plan better. Starbucks really threw me off this morning! Thanks for the encouragement!

    Sounds like something else besides hunger is going on. I'd go ahead and eat the apple. It has lots of fiber, which is filling, OR eat some spinach.

Also, you might look at fullplatediet.org and download their free e-book. Their concept is increasing your fiber in small increments. I promise you will not be hungry!!
There are also articles about increasing fiber here on SP.

You can get through this. Our bodies have learned to play those tricks on us. We have to learn if it's a need, or a trick.

    YOU CAN DO IT. YOU ARE STRONG. How did you get down to ONLY AN APPLE for dinner? PLAN a LITTLE BETTER maybe . . . seriously water may help, but an apple while good for you is hardly DINNER - maybe you need to look at your calorie ranges and your tracker and see how you might do better by yourself NEXT time this happens. I am only drinking tea and having a couple of slices of toast but I have been SICK and I COULD eat anything IF I felt like eating ANYTHING. LOL
