i just heard "it's time" by imagine dragons and it always give me a little chill when i hear it. it feels pretty uplifting and motivational. so i thought i would consider it for my motivation playlist. then i read the lyrics. not quite motivating for weight loss. the line, "i'm never changing who i am" doesn't really fit into the healthy lifestyle we are trying to acheive. it's all about change. i did find the line above about building from the bottom of the pit to be inspiring toward weight loss and a lifestyle change. and we should never hold back.
thank you for the wonderful advice on yesterday's blog. you all made me rethink my goals. i never really thought about the fact that i'd be trying them all at once and though i couldn't accomplish them all in the next month or so, it was too much to begin with. so i've decided to tackle one at time and work towards the others. i'm going to start with not drinking soda. i know i can quit it, i've done it before. i feel that will be the most easy. once i get rid of that sweet addiction, giving up sugar should be easier. i'm also going to talk to dh. not really a goal, just something that needs to get done and then i can cross it off. i'll also work on my workout plan. i know if i can do it one day, i'll do it another and eventually it'll just become habit and part of my regular routine. no pressure though!
