This is my week 5 10-mile run blog and this weeks Too Hot Too Handle Exercise.
I ran well, but I ran too much and too fast.
I ran Saturday 3.66 miles
I ran Sunday 10.07 miles
I ran Monday 2.73 miles
Um... yeah it wasn't until Monday evening I realized I'd run 3 days in a row!
My IT Band was sore. I felt run down. I rested Tuesday. I used the elliptical Wednesday slow and without resistance. I rested Thursday. This morning my the top left of my knee (left leg) where my quad and knee come together was sore.
I had to take my kiddo to a drs appt, while there I tried to pin point where it hurt exactly. Boy did I ever!! WOW. To the point that it was now OUCH!
Actually hurt to walk.
The Rock N Roll is 4 weeks and 2 days away. I'm icing and resting and alternating heat.... if I have to I'll do this for until March 4th. Then go from there.
I've also called a Sports Med guy, I'm waiting to hear back from him and hope to get an appt by Monday. Meh....
I'm trying to stop hyperventilating.....
