Woohoo it's the weekend (soon)!
I am especially excited for this weekend because myself, my daughter and 2 of my friends (one is a bridesmaid) are heading off to a bridal show for the day. It starts at 11 and ends at 5. I have never been to one of these and I am excited. My wedding isn't til July 2014 but we're doing alot of diy stuff and I'm hoping this will give me some awesome ideas that are inexpensive.
I gotta just say this... OMG OMG OMG OMG I can't wait to get married!! This whole experience for the most part is just so fun. I made a binder and decorated it with flowers and stuff and it has all my wedding stuff in it such as guest list, wedding party and other attendants, venue, etc etc and I'm just excited. i already have my wedding shoes and my daughter's. They came in the mail a few weeks ago and they started off being really tight but i think my feet are losing weight already cuz they're feeling better and better. I do feel like I'm too fat for them still and wearing them and walking around in them will probably snap the heel so I haven't really been able to do that yet. I've been watching a lot of different wedding shows and getting sentimental thinking about having people I love with me when i go pick out my dress. We've (as in i forced on the idea) have decided to write our own vows and I'm excited to start that too. The money to afford it all is still a big issue but we've cut on costs a bit already so I'm sure it'll slowly get down to where I want it to be.. and we'll be able to put enough money away to pay for it all. I found out at christmas time that my aunty took a photography course and has done 3 weddings so far and she agreed to do mine and for free! So that was 1500 dollars we saved from that alone.
ANYWAY enough wedding rambling.
So the 10 day challenge is going well although i did sneak in 2 cookies yesterday but it was within my range so I've forgiven myself for them. I really love love love the toning dvd. It makes my body hurt but in a good way.. muscles I never really knew I had are burning and it feels great. The exhilarate - which is a 60 min dvd- is still really tough but I did alot better on my second turn at it than my first and I'm proud of myself for it. I'm supposed to have one rest day coming up but because of the bridal show on sunday I'm extending it to 2 rest days (although being on my feet for 4 hours + doesn't seem like much of a rest day lol) so instead of this being a 10 day challenge it'll be extended to 11 days and I'm okay with that.
My eating has been pretty good (minus the cookie incident yesterday) I've managed to stay at the low end of fat every day this week and have been doing alright with protein. I'm watching labels alot more for fat content and protein content to try to make sure there's alot of protein in everything I eat. But overall i can say that I'm feeling really good. My weight also plummeted after I had a surprise last day from TOM (it happens often where I think it's over but then SURPRISE no it's not for at least another day.. it's really weird) So I'm not freaking out over it anymore and will try not to freak out over a gain again . I should know better.. I know I'm not over eating and I'm exercising so my body is bound to surprise me with it's silliness.
I'm really looking forward to these two days off.. although I may sneak in the 40 min activate dvd in just for fun tomorrow and to make up for the cake I am definitely trying out on sunday (how else am I supposed to pick the flavors for my wedding cake
