I've mentioned what a blessing it is to have J walk with me in the mornings. He called me last night to say he wouldn't be joining me today. I expected the call. He is dedicating a granddaughter on Sunday, and left to be with family. Have a great weekend J.

Of course, all the discipline built around being ready when he arrived went straight out the window. I woke up 45 minutes later than usual and had to rush horribly for the morning. Still, it paid off. Got my walk in and hopped in the car to go to work. I also caught the beginning glimpes of a fabulous sunrise. Didn't really appreciate the neighbor who was frying bacon that could be smelled for blocks, though.

Ready for the weekend. As much as I enjoyed my big push last Saturday, my knees have really been complaining, so I think this weekend, I'll be walking less and looking for more indoor and less knee-intensive ways to keep moving.
