30 Day Shred - Not a Spectator Sport!

Whoah! I only got through half of the beginner session. I bought the DVD a few weeks ago, but Iíve been busy, and now sick. I really felt like burning some cals this morning though, so I popped it in. I love the simplicity of it. All the exercises are basic. The fit girls doing the workout worked up a good sweat, even the one doing the modified exercises. Iím looking forward to doing this regularly when Iím at full strength. Nice!

    It's one of my favorite dvd's, but I like Ripped in 30 even better. You will marvel at the results if you even do the workouts twice a week!

    And keep in mind they are lifting 3lb weights. When I graduated to heavier weights I had to slow down my reps just a touch to make sure I was keeping proper form. Those toned girls can toss around 3lbs like feathers so don't let it discourage you if you can't do as many reps or need to do them slower.
I got through JM's latest Ripped in 30 (which is the same program as 30 Day Shred) My butt was kicked 6 days a week and it wasn't until day 6 that I felt any improvement. But now that I've re-started the 30 days over again I can tell a slight difference.
The worse part is that the videos don't burn near as many calories as you think they should! But stronger muscles burn fat better so it will even out. ;)

    The Shred is still one of my MOST favorite workouts, It's fast and a killer workout that gets results.
