Week is Almost Over

Well, I'm still not where I want to be with my deficit reports. Since I'm not doing the majority of cooking and my DH is going to the grocery store with me I find that I'm missing my target of 1500 calories daily and 400-500 burned calories from exercise.

Good things? I'm still riding my bike emoticon - this week 3 times and that really helps. It's also a lot of fun. This morning there was so much fog here (we're getting the tail end of the storm that's hitting the middle of the country but it's just fog and cooler temps on this sandbar at the tip of TX) that water dripped off my helmet & bangs onto my hands and handlebar.

I feel good. For the past couple of days I had a weird pain that came and then would disappear, then come back when I walked. I have NO idea what it was about, it was in my lower leg but it seems to be much better today. Yay! emoticon

I have a 3 day weekend approaching. emoticon Really, there's nothing more to say about that. Happy, happy.

I found a light version of scalloped sweet potatoes - going to try to make that tonight while the weather is still a little cool. Whenever I make something new that becomes "fancy cooking". So I'm fancy cooking tonight - fun!

And two long-time friends are coming to visit my DH and me for this long weekend. How much fun will THAT be? emoticon

Anyway, I hope everyone feels OK about their week and are heading into the weekend feeling strong, happy, optomistic. Have a GREAT weekend!
