Keeping a journal is a good idea, whether it is on your computer or hand-written in an old-fashioned notebook. But what could the entries be if you happen to be a procrastinator?
This is Day One! I'm off to a good start. I have my Journal, and this is the first entry. Today I am taking my dog for a 30 minute walk. Later in the afternoon it will be gym time! I'm ready to get healthy and fit!
This morning it was raining when I got up, and I feel kind of sore from all the exercise I got yesterday. I think I'll use today as a "day of rest." They always say you should let your body rest in between strenuous work-outs.
I forgot to write anything down yesterday, so it's now Thursday. First of all, I will catch up on all the emails on my computer, and do my SP stuff...... then I'll do one of those exercise CD's!
Well...... my plans got changed this afternoon with my friend, Jeff, stopped by. We got to talking and watching old movies and he ordered a medium pizza, which we shared. Oh well, there is always tomorrow!
The sun is out today and it's Friday. I put on my
and headed out the door. I called a friend to meet me at the tennis courts. That should give both of us some really good exercise.
We played for about 30 minutes, and then Susan sort of twisted her ankle, so we went into the cafeteria and had a reuben sandwich. Boy! I really lose those things! I passed on the French fries though, so I'm really learning to be a health nut.
Saturday morning is my weigh in morning! I couldn't believe it when the scale said I was UP 1.2 pounds! What good does it do to watch your food intake and work your butt off only to GAIN weight? Why do I even "try" to do this? It's hopeless.
OK, so I slipped a little bit today. I don't know what the big deal is? I saw skinny people in there eating hamburgers too! You can't eat like a rabbit for "every" meal you know.
I skipped the mayo on my hamburger................
I drank "diet" Coke instead of the good stuff...................
Well, some people don't lose weight -- even when they do everything right!
