I feel so good. For the first time, I feel like my hard work is paying off. The scale is actually down 2.3 lbs from where I was a week ago. It is down more than it went up last week if that makes sense. I know the scale is not the be all and end all, but it does feel good when it moves in the correct direction.

I have been making really good food choices lately. I have ordered fish when I wanted a burger. Instead we make the burgers at home with 96% lean ground beef. I make sure to order a salad before every meal. We also try to share an appetizer if we are out so I have at least half the main course to take home. At home, I eat a lot of tuna and low sodium turkey. We cook chicken as our mainstay.

I have been working out diligently hard at least 5 days a week. I have learned that my body cannot workout at that pace 7 days a week. I do take one day off completely which always goofs up my steps, but without working out, it is hard to get 10,000 steps in your house. For me, Walk it Out is a workout because I always use it as a cool down so my legs tend to get sore from doing the same sort of motion all the time which is why that isn't my day off thing. Almost all my workouts are walking of one sort or another.

Yesterday, I was so happy, that my jeans fit right out of the washer. They didn't feel tight at all. I have two other pair of pants that are actually getting big. Right now, I am working to get into my 16 pants that I can use for work. I am really close. Just an inch around the waist and they should fit. I am just doing it one size at a time :)
