Yesterday I ate light but ate greek yogurt, banana and almonds....a favorite of mine for dinner. According to The Plan all three of these could be reactive foods but I love them. So I ate according to the plan all day until dinner and had those three things mixed for dinner. Remember, I had weighed in up 1.5 pounds yesterday, I think because of sweet potato, beer, and Newman's dressing. So this morning I was down a pound so 109 which puts me under goal again. I am just so happy that the one pound was gone as I really didn't want to cut greek yogurt out of my diet. So woo hoo! It's those small things that mean a lot. Like I have mentioned before, I am most interested in eating right for my arthritis and to feel on top of my game. Yesterday we even went to a cocktail party and I started off having a Negro Modelo (my favorite beer). I was only going to have one but funny thing, I took a sip and it just didn't taste good so I said...forget it and didn't drink it. I think when I eat so many beets and broccoli it changes my taste buds....oh plus yesterday I found some dandelion tea which The Plan recommends and I had a cup of that before the party.....maybe that changed my taste buds. And because I had my Plan lunch before going to the cocktail party I wasn't hungry so didn't eat at the party. Today I feel great though and we are going to The Annual Chili Festival here in Ajijic. It's a good time with lots of artists and all kinds of booths to visit and competitions for chili, salsa and margarita. Today is the margarita competition and our friend got second place last year so this year we are going to go and support him and see if he can't win 1sr place! but I know I won't be tasting too many margaritas! It's a beautiful day as always so should be a fun day!
