Fruit and vegetables

I had dizzy spells twice this week while at the Y. I think it's because I'm not eating as much fruit and veg due to having a restricted diet for three weeks. I bought oranges yesterday so I hope eating them will help. I'm one of these people that usually eats more than five servings of fruit and vegetables. I would guess that I usually eat more than seven servings a day.

I've been having less than usual and they're more processed. Last week, I made a salad soup since lettuce is too hard to eat with a sore tooth. I've been eating lots of sweets which give me calories but not the nutrition I need. I need to cut the sweets and cook more. I feel tired all the time and that makes me less apt to cook. I bought lots of carrots and onions. I need to make stuff with them. When I picked up the carrots, I thought carrot soup would be great. I haven't make it thought.

I know that eating fruits and vegetables will give me the energy I need. I need to make stuff with the vegetables I bought and not be lazy about it.

    Sounds like the change in diet has caused a blood sugar imbalance. Get back to your fruits and veggies and you'll be just fine.

    I hate dizzy spells. I have low blood pressure. exercise lowers it even more. It sucks. I hope you can find what is your trigger for dizzy spells and fix it. Mine is not enough electrolytes - I have to drink powerade zero, or even use electrolyte supplements.

  I get dizzy when I don't drink enough or maybe low blood sugar for not eating in awhile.

    Sorry about the sore tooth, hope things get better for you like you, I eat usually between 5 and 7 or more veggies and fruits per day. I encourage you to get in as many veggies and fruits as your present situation will allow, for veggies, try mashing or putting them through a food processor them, it may make the veggies easier to eat..Hope this helps..my prayers are with you... emoticon emoticon
