Is it wrong?

Friday, February 22, 2013

Is it wrong to splurge before I get serious?!!! Tomorrow (at least I'm not waiting til Monday right?) is going to be my 1st day of getting healthy and I am craving all kinds of stuff before I cut back on some things (notice I didn't say eliminate). I have to admit I am an emotional eater and well today my emotions were put to the test. emoticon Sigh, just prepping myself for the days to come. The crazy part is I ordered the food and I'm not even hungry anymore emoticon I guess its just knowing I will have the food here.....brighter note Looking forward to completing my first week though

As stated before, no need to stress about what you have done...just take it one day at a time!!! You will do great!

Don't be so hard on yourself! I did splurge the night before I started my program. I did say good-bye to the old foods that night!
The start of this program was the dread, but the first day I finished; I knew I was not turning back. I am committed for the long journey; and it HAS DEFINITELY BEEN MOTIVATING AND EXCITING, SERIOUSLY! My anchor is in Jesus; I claimed his promise in Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneths me. Every day I would claim this and believed with my whole heart he would help me. He has and he is.
I have lost 17 pounds since Jan. 1st due to His strength. I am just excited now as when the day I claimed His promise of help. You can do this ........... please do not be discouraged. It took your whole life to get to the weight you are and expect realistically it will take a while to get the weight off. You can do it! Don't look at this program as a big staircase, but take one step at a time. This way you can enjoy the journey as you see the scales go down, and the clothes get loose, and then the day you need new ones.
You can do it!

Congratulations on starting your journey tomorrow! I can relate to splurging before starting to get healthy. I say no regrets...just keep going one day at a time and you will get there.
