Did you know that I once had an addiction to soda? Pepsi, specifically. I used to drink upwards of 4-6 cans (back when they still had cans) PER DAY. My body started rejecting it. I just couldn't stand to drink it anymore. So I switched to sweet tea. Then I couldn't stand the taste of THAT anymore. Know what I drink now? Water. Coffee. Shakeology. And most days, I don't even finish a whole cup of coffee.
Our bodies, if we listen to them, have ways of telling us it doesn't like what we're doing to it.
I ended up losing a bunch of weight by cutting out all those empty calories and dumping all that sugar.
Also, I smoked for 20+ years. A really, foolishly long time. I made the decision to quit. Just stopped smoking. Right after I became a coach. I figured no one would take me seriously if I was trying to get others healthy when I'm not even healthy myself. I've been smoke free now for over a year and a half with ZERO desire to ever have another one ever again. The smell of it repulses me!
I feel soooo much better without those two albatross hanging around my neck! And I smell better, too.
Just wanted to share that. Just in case you felt like you couldn't do it. ;)
