Stayed the same

Thursday, February 21, 2013

Well, I stayed the same. ! emoticon

I'm trying not to let it get me down, but it is a bit of a let down considering I have really been working it at the gym. My eating has not been perfect, but it really never is. I know it should only be about a pound or two loss per week, but I really want to get under 200 so badly that I can almost taste it!!!! Trying not to let it get me down--I will get there, and when I do, it will feel amazing!

I know for sure that if it was not for Spark and my wonderful Spark friends, I would have given up by now. Thank you Sparkpeople!

Hang in there, you'll get there!!!
Remember, we also have these joyous, pleasant things called hormones that get in the way too.

Another thing... my doctor told me when you yo yo diet you screw up your metabolism so bad that you HAVE to diet and exercise constantly. That's what's happened to many of us - years of yo-yo-ing. He said you just have to hang in there.
So keep it up, it will happen.

Have a great day!!
emoticon to you, Beni

Remember, you are also building muscle, so inspite of the scale not changing, you are getting stronger. Keep that in mind and keep in mind how you feel.

Keep focused on your goal. Staying the same weight can be frustrating but it is so much better than a gain. Our bodies just are just adjusting to our new lifestyle. I have found water and sleep helps me. Good luck on your journey.

Oh, try not to be so down about it. It could just be water weight too. That's what happens to me at times when I know I've done so good. It'll probably show up really good next week, with how good you'll be this next week! emoticon emoticon emoticon
