I love Audible.com. I can listen to The Spark while going to and from work, while exercising, while eating, while working. I'm on my first full listen all the way through though.
Just finished a section on short term, medium term, and long term goals. So I figured there was no better place, but here on my blog for all to see to put my goals down in writing.
Short Term Goals: Drink 8 glasses of water a day for th30 days (this is a huge short term for me since prior to this time around I hated drinking water, I'm already actually enjoying the taste and finding it easier than ever before)
Lose 4 pounds in 30 days
Give myself a 5 minute pep talk every day for 30 days
Exercise at least 10 minutes per day for 30 days
Those are all I could really commit to myself right now and I think they are a good start. I'm having a hard time with medium term, and making a S.M.A.R.T. long term goal. There are a couple articles on the site thought that I'm going to read and then post the other two.
Not a bad start for me. I'm still sparking and keeping the above commitments to myself above.
I hope everyone else is out there finding their 'fire' as well. If you haven't yet, I promise you will. Just believe in yourself!
Note to self: Yesterday for the first time in my entire life I said "I was amazing!" I even believe it right now and that's never happened before. It's the spark that's creating this fire in me.
