Snow day #2!

Thursday, February 21, 2013

We didn't get as much snow as they originally thought. We got around 8 inches. They called school off for tomorrow and I'm a bit surprised. We are supposed to get more snow tonight, but not that much more. Oh well, I'm not complaining.

We cleaned the house today and I caught up on laundry. The kids even cleaned their rooms...I wonder how long that will last?! At least it's clean for a couple of hours! emoticon

I just finished the cardio workout of Insanity and can we say sweating buckets? emoticon It's literally dripping off my head. It just goes on and on and on..... You definitely get a good workout!

I can't wait for my weigh in tomorrow! I've stayed in calorie range all week, worked out everyday and that includes strength training! emoticon I really should mentally prepare for the scale to creep up since I'm starting to see muscle! I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but all of you can relate to the scale going up! I know it's a mind game, but that is 1/2 the battle of this journey.

I'll let you all know tomorrow! Have a great night!

    Sounds great!

Yes, muscle weighs more than fat, and also looks a lot better : ))
I'm in a similar stage with that...
In the past 2 months I have been doing less cardio and more strength training with bigger weights, and I'm 3-4 pound heavier but look just as good as I did at my minimum.

You got many good surprises these days - like the second snow day and the kids cleaning their room!! Who knows, maybe the scale will surprise you, too!
But whatever the case, you know you're doing great and that's what matters most.
Keep it up!

Anxious to see how your weigh-in goes!

We haven't had a snow day yet here in Duluth. We had one cold day (negative 40 windchills) and one ice day (too slippery). Where are you at exactly again? I know that you usually don't get that much snow, if any, but this winter has been crazy all over.

My sister-in-law works at UN-L Graduate Studies. When she told me they were closed, I knew y'all had been hit. It takes a lot to close down scholl systems in Nebraska! Be safe and wishing you the best...
