WOW!!!

Okay, so I injured my knee while working out on a sparkpage kick boxing boot camp video a few weeks ago...Fell off had to get a leg brace, meds...

Today was the best i've felt since my injury and I over did it(treadmill, spark videos, jumping rope among other things)...Don't regret it at all...My knee spoke to me, really it said, "STOP OVER DOING IT"...

So I did, but I was reved up, happy to be back on track...took it easy with some Pilates and guess what... I LIKE IT!!!

So what did I practice today??? One step at a time...and we can all succeed!!!

P.S I'm proud to be a member of Sparkpeople.

    emoticon Stick with it! Slowly build up, soon will come the day you will be in tip-top shape and injuries will be a thing of the past. Those awakened muscles may talk back, but they're really glad to be used again....

    I was like you and had to learn to listen to my body. It should never hurt to exercise. Make sure to do at least a 3 minute stretch with any exercise. I am having to start over after a serious infection from backs surgery. It is so hard to hold back, but I know I have to. Good luck with you recovery and pace yourself.
