This morning, the temperature was -28C. I haven't run since Saturday because it's been so cold, and mostly with a wind pushing the cold even colder. But this morning, there was no wind (see the flag behind me), so I thought I would put on the layers required, and get my butt out the door.

It felt fantastic!!

Cold? Yes. But exhilerating!

And really good to get some more running miles in. I know that I'm a bit ahead of schedule in my running goal, but I don't want to let that make me feel like I can take days off. I know where that's gotten me in the past!

I don't want to have the excuses come too easily. And I do own the clothes that will allow me to run in that kind of temperature.

5.1 miles added!!

Hardcore! I'll just embrace the sunny view of Tampa Bay as I run my Gasparilla Half Marathon this Sunday morning! It will be a balmy 68 degrees at our 6:00am start!
