Can I get a Woot Wooo???!!!

Thursday, February 21, 2013

Key word of the day- Willpower. Today, despite hunger pains and sweet temptations I have had success! I used this thing called "willpower". Have you heard of it before?

I thought that this willpower thing was a myth, something that skinny people made up to make fatty's feel inferior. It's real however and I tapped into this special power.

Now, truth be told, I didn't like the way I felt about it as it was happening. The café at work purposefully made some yummy desserts to torture me. They were calling my name and this willpower thing crept up on me and said no. Don't stand between me and a lemon whoopie pie! Willpower said "you will thank me later".... It was is later and I am so happy with myself.

Thank you willpower...please visit again tomorrow!

I can sooooo relate! I have given up soda - of any kind - diet - it doesn't matter. Gone. Today dh - who never drinks soda - brings one and asks me if I wanted some. I did - but somehow looked at it and said "nope - not touching that."

Some days are just awesome - aren't they?
