Bad news: A winter storm is blowing through.
Good news: The snow is beautiful.

BN: The snow blower is on the fritz.
GN: We have three shovels.
More GN: Lots of exercise minutes.

BN: I had to go to work early because of the storm.
GN: We got to leave early because of the storm.

BN: Our driveway was loaded with snow and my car got stuck (halfway into the street.)
GN: At least I made it home and hubby (who had gotten off early) helped me get my car into the garage.

BN: It took me 20 minutes to de-ice my car after work.
GN: I had planned ahead and packed a lunch and had boots, scrapers, muffler, etc.

BN: Someone has to cook supper.
GN: Hubby has bean soup in the slow cooker. WooHoo!

BN: Outside it is cold and windy.
GN: Inside it is warm and toasty, especially in the great room where a fire is roaring in the fireplace.

Have a great evening. I plan on snuggling in and watching some TV with the family.
