Sleep and the problems with it.

Lately I have been noticing that I'm just tired, beyond tired almost exhausted. I've been struggling to really figure out why and then it hit me like a ton of bricks the other night. I'm working out more, doing a 30 minutes of weights, and always at least 2 hours of cardio sometimes a bit more. I make good food choices(not perfect ones, I'm human after all), but food isn't my issue. I mean if I looked at my journal it looks great, problem is sometimes I'm not eating what I put down. It's not that I've chosen something else, I just don't feel like eating sometimes.
Then there is this other little problem, I stay up to late. I'm not getting enough sleep period. I know why I'm tired now, but how to fix it. Well I came up with that too. I've been getting to bed earlier and earlier all this week. That's been nice, I'm rested when I wake up, I'm in a better mood. Food I decided I have to force myself to eat something, last night I did and guess what I felt better. I'm also seriously thinking about taking a day out during the week to just relax instead of workout. During the week I'm working out usually five days, three days have classes with them and I work out even more on top of that. The other two days are just me.
My legs are so tired this week I wasn't sure I could make it up the stairs last night, my arms too, but the arms are a different tired. Don't get me wrong I love my workouts and when I'm there I'm giving all that I can, but by the time I'm done I'm to tired to eat, I usually feel like I want to puke a little.
Hubby told me last night I should get in and get my thyroid checked. He thinks cause I drink alot of water, am tired and things like that, that my thyroid might be off. I told him he thinks everyone has a bad thyroid just cause he does. But I've been thinking today maybe I should, I don't know. I don't really know anything about thyroids.
At least for now I'm taking the steps to work on my sleeping. Going to bed early, actually eating and cutting back on a day of workouts might be just what I need.
Side note here- I signed up for another 5k, it's on March 10th. It's a St. Patties day run. That brings my total to 3, 5ks then that I've signed up for. That means three more to go and 2 10ks. Wish me luck.
