I have the interview questions; the beautiful thing is the last question, describe your vision for the department. Easy, my manager and I have been talking about this for years.

I know who my competition is, definitely on the inside track for this. I feel bad for some of my coworkers who didn't get an interview and will have to deal with the aftermath of that

My job now is to make the decision really easy for the manager. Lots of prep to do over the next few days.
