So lying to yourself, not always bad. When I told myself last night that the side of hash browns and then a Krispy Kreme donut wouldn't be too bad because I worked out that morning....that was a bad lie. BUT when my body just did not want to do the treadmill this morning and I told it we were just going to do the same thing as yesterday and then I started with faster jogs...that's a good lie! When my body was dying after doing four 60s/90s intervals at 5.0mph/3.5mph and I did the next one at 4.5/3.3 and told it we could do the next few like that and only did one like that before pumping back up to the 5.0/3.5 numbers....that's a good lie. When I had done 7 intervals and told my body just one more and we'll be done because at least then we did as many as yesterday and then did one more 5.0/3.5 and another at 4.5/3.3....that was a good lie. Still me lying to myself but with vastly different purposes. I just need to keep lying to myself in the good way now. LOL
But yes, I have now done three consecutive days on the treadmill. I pumped up to 25min of intervals today. My goal is to get up to 3mi either on the treadmill or outside using intervals and then figure out how to train up to try for that HM. Still not giving up on it!
And also considering this is the third day in a row on the treadmill and getting in exercise and tracking faithfully even tho I haven't been eating well, I'm calling that the start of a few streaks and some victory!
On the food side tho, I'm struggling. I know part of it is that I'm starting to work out so I'm definitely hungrier and it will take a few days of struggling to get it under control. I'm trying to look back at my days and see how I can improve in that area since I'm faithfully writing it down. Going for the whole "knowledge is power" thing here.
And I looked at my workout dvd drawer this morning and was just completely uninspired. The ones I loved I've overdone and I'm burned out on them. The ones I haven't for whatever reason are not making me jump and down wanting to try them right now. The only one that doesn't fit that is the Turbo Jam so I'm going back to that next week (as I think I've said) but I also went online and grabbed a few new ones that I've been wanting to try as well as some add on stuff to Turbo Jam so there will be reviews of Slim in 6 and Yoga Booty Ballet at some point. I plan to try a few of their workouts when they come in to see if I like them and then put a plan together to put them into rotation. If I don't like them tho, they are totally going back. I don't need to waste money or space on something I'm not going to use.
