Winter blues!

I have the winter blues. I had fun w/ the cold and snow when it first started. Went sledding and enjoyed looking at it, but after falling on black ice, getting stuck on a hill, sliding, and freezing to death in my non insualted room I can say I am very very ready for spring to come. These last 3 weeks I've been working out at least 3 days w/ 30 mins, but my eating went crazy due to boredom and stress and winter depression. The only nice thing was my weight didnt move up or down. So for 3 weeks been at a standstill.

After the 3rd week of standing still on the scale i made my meal plans and went shopping. So far so good. Only had fast food once this week so far, (oatmeal from mcdonald for breakfast, was running late). Normally ive spent at least 30$ on food between ordering out at work and going out when i get home by now, but only have spent 3.20$ lol big difference!

So here's to hoping that spring will come sooner rather than later!!!! and that i keep on track w/ my eating. i know this is my issue just trying to fix it always seems to go the wrong way!

    I will be glad when spring gets here also. I want to be outside. It seems you are not letting your boredom lead to too much binge eating. emoticon emoticon

    Being at a stand still is hard for me to deal with. I just got back on the program three days ago, so I haven't moved yet. Sounds like you found where your issues are, and are doing something about it. I'm still working that out. Being snowed in doesn't help though. I just want to curl up with my favorite winter foods and watch movies all day. But that is not how we lose weight! Hopefully Spring comes fast and we can get out of this Winter funk.
