2 Weeks of Detox = 9.5lb Loss

I knew that my eating had become ridiculous, self indulgent, and overall what I needed was an intervention. Two weeks ago today I decided to cut out the sugary treats and fast foods that had crept back into my life to the point that I would eat 3 or 4 donuts...or cookies...or half a bag of hershey kisses. Super size the fries, or tots. Not only does it make you fluffy...it is a death trap. So two weeks ago I just said that's it. I'm going to not eat junk for 2 weeks - I can do ANYTHING for two weeks! I also started dragging my bum out of bed at 5 a.m. and getting in a 30 minute workout....sometimes adding yoga or a run later in the day for 2x day workouts. And sure enough here I am with 2 weeks under my belt and the cravings are nearly gone and I feel SO much better, less sluggish, and I have been able to get rid of 9.5 lbs WOOHOOO!
And the best part? I feel like hitting it for another 2 weeks :0)
