Ok, so when I got in shape before I had been walking small distances, but the real change started happening when I added P90X. So I've been thinking I really need to get back on that track. The problem is the same thing keeps happening.... I start, I get REALLY sore, and then 3-4 days in to it I quit. :(
This time though, I think I have this beat. A college girl who used to work with me has started working out with me. Today is day 4 and we're still going strong. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm still sore, but oddly.... not as much as usual. In fact, some of the moves I'm actually managing better than she is. :) Imagine that!
I expect she will be quite unhappy today. It's yoga day. Any of you that have ever done YogaX, know that it's not your peaceful, soothing, centering and relaxing yoga. Oh no, this is push, and sweat, and dear Lord don't forget to breathe, and hold that pose even though your muscles are on FIRE!!!! Oh by the time you're done, you're all peaceful, and namastay (sp?), but before that, it's hell. We'll see if she forgives me. Hope you all have a wonderful amazing day!
