Finally!

Since the new year began I have been more conscientious about living a healthier life. I exercise daily and track all the food I eat, most of the times. After almost 8 weeks of staying on track, I had yet to have someone ask me, "have you lost weight?" Which was a small goal I had set when I started this journey. I was devastated!

But then it finally happened!

A friend from work said, "your face is skinny! ARE YOU LOSING WEIGHT?" I beamed from ear to ear, and then blushed a little at all the attention, then said, "yes I am, thanks for noticing." I was calm and cool on the outside, almost nonchalant, but on the inside I was doing summer-salts!!! emoticon I held my head high the entire night (I work night shift), it really made my day!

Each month I have picked a goal to work towards...January was to exercise regularly, February was be nicer to myself (BIG CHALLENGE), and March will be to accurately journal all food, consistently. I have not changed much about my eating habits since I began, so maybe for April I will finally initiate that change? My weight loss has been VERY slow, but steady, I'm sure changing my food choices will be the extra boost I need!
