week 4 motivators-who needs the scale!

so I'm having trouble getting on board with tracking my nutrition...i hate to stop and search for the info to add what I ate to my nutrition tracker. but I'm being patient with myself. i refuse to give up. i will find the motivators that will pull me in line with where i need to be! for now, i am enjoying and celebrating the things that are going well-exercise, drinking enough fluids, eating more fruits and veggies, and getting up on time so that i can fit in a good workout! i am revelling in the excitement that comes with sticking to my 5k training, the confidence that comes with finishing my first year in kickboxing, the smile that comes when i see my toned legs in the mirror. it feels great to welcome a challenge instead of dread it.

  TIG123GER How right you are! I began my weight loss journey 8 weeks ago, and I have been consistent. So when the scale didn't respond to all my hard work and sweat I got a little upset. My husband, being the amazing guy he is, pulled me towards him and showed me every area where he could see me getting smaller. No the scale still hasn't changed much, but my attitude towards the stupid thing has... my weight is just a number, it cannot measure my health completely!

    So right - the scale tells you very little about your successful journey. Keep up the great work and let how you look and feel determine how you're doing.
