Last night I was so happy to get back to the gym. I was just happy that I could do it again, that 10 days off hadn't put me back to where I was 6 months ago. I am looking forward to a full 3 mile run on Saturday, hopefully by then my cold will be completely gone (still have lingering sore throat and stuffy nose).
Tonight I am going back to yoga if Mike gets back from his trip in time. His plane lands at 4 and yoga starts at 5:30 so it should work.
I was thinking about goals this morning on my way to work. At some point a few months ago I made the goal of losing 7 lbs a month. At that point in my journey, that was the rate I had to get to 170 by my 40th birthday. Though I haven't hit 7 lbs each month, I realized it was an achievable (though difficult) goal. Today I was calculating where I would be if I hit the 7lbs/month goal.
I started Feb at 213.
March 1 - 206 - March is a hard month because I will be traveling 3 weeks. One of those weeks is a cruise which has delicious looking food on board. I will have to make time to exercise (even on the cruise!) and make good choices.
April 1 - 199!!! The challenge in April is Birthdays! two of my daughters and my husband have their birthdays in April. By the end, I don't want to see another birthday cake. I am making the goal now of not having any cake in April, I know i can do it! April 20 is my first 5k!
May 1 - 192 One more birthday in May, my mom's.
June 1 - 185 Nothing planned to June yet, though I might go on travel for a week for work.
July 1 - 178
July 15 (birthday) - 174
Can I make these weight goals? I sure hope so!
