Blessings, February 21, 2013

Thursday, February 21, 2013

My goal is to list at least three blessings every day.

Here are today's blessings:

1. I am safely at home and as prepared as I can be for the upcoming snowstorm.

2. My family is safe at home wiith me.

3. I am laughing and seeing the humor in our current weather pattern. I usually swim with my students on Thursdays. Due to weather, remodeling and school events, I have not been swimming in 6 weeks. Due to today's storm, I am not swimming today; and we are supposed to have more snow next Wednesday into Thursday. I may not swim again until some time in March.

4. I feel loved and I know that I am blessed with more than I can count.

5. Family, friends, and faith.

Feel free to list your own blessings. Have a wonderful day!

1 We got our first day off this year for inclement weather
2 Hubby made it to and from work safely on the ice...and got off early
3 Did lots of Zumba throughout the day
4 School already called off for tomorrow due to ice, so we'll get to sleep in
5 That means 2 whole days in a row at home alone with my son...great times together

Glad you're prepared and safe for Storm Q. DH was on business in Missouri yesterday, but called and said instead of coming home tonight (Thursday) the meetings were abbreviated, will be re-scheduled and he arrived home from Jefferson City last night. PHEW. UP to a foot of snow is expected in Kansas City Missouri.

    1. Family, friends, faith.

    2. Energy back! PHEW

    3. Have all things necessary prepared in case the weather makes it difficult traveling, which it is suposed to tomorrow.
