Baby coming but then not.....

Thursday, February 21, 2013

good Morning; yesterday was an interesting day getting feedback from DS & GF. GF went to doctor for her regular appointment and he says he wants her to go 40 weeks. Last week he tells her that she will probably deliver 36 weeks. She calls me up confused. She does not understand why the doctor keeps changing his mind all the time. She is getting very nervous. Last night at 2:30 AM she went to the hospital b/c she started contractions again and lost her mucus plug. Her doctor was there and he stopped the contractions and said that it is too soon for the baby to come. He has stopped contractions 3 times. DS is going to call me at 9 AM to give me more details. 40 weeks will run into my trip to see my MIL with DD and baby. MIL sent a wonderful letter to DH and I thanking me for making this trip happen. She is so overjoyed to meet her new great grand daughter. I am looking so forward to this trip. DD is so excited as she skyped with me last evening. I just pray I am to be supportive to DS, GF and go on my trip also. Easter weekend is 40 weeks for GF. emoticon I sure would like some feedback from any one on the blog about this baby situation. Since I adopted both my children I have never gone through a pregnancy, but one of my friends says a doctor is supposed to give the mother confidence that he knows what he emoticon emoticon is doing. Have a good day!! I am going to gym this morning.

The best place for the baby to develop is in the womb. The physician can estimate the size and weight and uses this as well as gestation length to determine whether or not to allow labor to continue. Around this time most mothers get anxious for delivery.

In general I approach Drs. with a healthy amt. of skepticism if what they tell me doesn't make sense! Never been one to be bashful about asking questions. That's what I'd be doing!

My kiddos are adopted as well.

Hugs and just remember. . . all you can do is your best!

I had two . both where different . no two babies are born the same . it depends upon the baby . the mommy . doctors sorry do not trust them . I know we should but they are guessing at what to do and we allow them to boss us around like sheep being lead to the slaughter . they cover up what we have with pills not cure them .I hope you get to do both the things you want to achieve . emoticon
