4 a.m.? Really? Really?

My body or rather my brain decided that 4 hours was enough sleep and my eyes popped open at 4 a.m. Yes I went to bed late but I took a 1/4 of a sleep aid thinking this would be enough to keep me asleep until 5:45 at least.
So brain is up and I felt like the commercial of the woman lying in bed with thoughts racing around ("Maybe the hokey pokey IS really what it's all about!")
Ok I didn't have that thought! But song lyrics were popping in and out, thinking about a friend & her little girl who lost their horse to a broken leg this past weekend, many many other thoughts frittering in & out.
Of course I did eventually drift back into sleep and woke up groggy to the alarm. So hard to get up.
