I'm thrilled you make the difference in overeating versus binged calories! I've made big strides in fewer calories in the overeating times. Because overeating mode doesn't automatically put me into binge mode. I get so worked up when I go over my limits, but I don't feel obligated to fall head first into a binge anymore.
I just watched your blog. You are working so hard, I am impressed! And yes it inspires me to see someone younger dealing with their food addictions and getting fit. You talked about having eating issues since you were young. I have spent a major part of my life dealing with food and having my weight go up and down. It has majorly affected my quality of life, I've had thin years and fat years, but always I was obsessed with food, either not being able to eat it, or shame for eating too much. If I could give any advice, learn from me and deal with it now while you are young. It will make your life so much happier! Sounds like you have a really solid program and are going for it.
