Hi Spark Friends!
Ooooo today I began Jillian’s 30 Day Shred added on top of the gym workout. Am I crazy… yea maybe so, but I know I can handle it. The Shred wasn’t half bad, all of Jillian’s workouts are fairly hard because she mixes cardio and strength and the switch up, while very effective, is hard! The hardest for me was believe it or not the thing we learn to do even at a very young age in school… jumping jacks… they kill me! I think its because I have so much weight being thrown around, they are excruciating!

Isn't that a better feeling than regretting that you didn't do your best? What small steps can you make today to end the day with satisfaction?”
I actually did this last night. I always reflect on the day, what I have done right and what I have done not-so-right. It actually helps me to wake up the next morning with more and more push to do even better that day. It is a great way to drift off into sleep and especially if I’ve had a great day! It actually does help the next morning to wake up in a good mood.

The only challenge I had today was the 30 days Shred... boy was it a challenge!
NOTE: added after posting my blog... marriage issues come up today too, and was another obstacle. Will post on that later.

I did not go to the gym today, it was planned, but yet again, personal marriage crap came up and I was not able to get there. I WILL GET TO THE POINT ONE DAY WHERE NOTHING KEEPS ME FROM DOING WHAT I NEED TO DO! I felt fortunate that I had done some workout already today, although I was pushing for maximum overload... LOL
Band clocked total of 3082 burned (with BMR) with my deficit being 2029. I think I did very well today considering the stress in the evening! And the coolest thing, I put my band into vigorous mode again today... for 11 of the 20 min 30 Day Shred... vigorous again today! I rarely push myself hard enough to get into the vigorous zone! Ya me!
I will keep pushing ahead!
I will keep getting up every day with a new day planned and keep moving forward.
