Pneumonia and fitbit

I'm not so sure these two go so well together. This afternoon I finally dragged myself to my doctor. After five weeks of this I had enough. Doc says walking pneumonia. Funny, I don't feel much like walking. Yet this fitbit keeps me wanting to do more. I managed to climb 11 floors....felt like I would collapse for sure. And I feel a bit guilty that I've not gotten in those 10,000 steps for a few days. But, I am thankful to have this little trinket to remind me that I'm on a journey to a healthier me. And I'm very grateful for the antibiotics. A deep breath can't be far behind. LOL! Hugs!

    I think that's a bit amusing that you have "walking" pneumonia, not that any illness is funny, at all, but my FitBit compulsion means I am fanatical about getting in my walking. Take care of yourself and know that the exercise will feel good when you are feeling good!

    Hope you get better real soon!! Pnemonia is NO fun! I have had it before and had to be hospitalized for a week! I know how it feels to have to struggle for your next breath!!! Take good care of yourself!

    As someone with asthma, I recommend you take it easy for a couple of days to give your body time to start healing with the new meds. I hope you feel better soon and can get back to what you love to do. emoticon Chelsea
