I have been trying to answer a lot of people today. I need to type faster or talk less.

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

We all know neither of those things will happen. I had a number of people ask about groupings so I have been trying to offer suggestions I find easier.

You know I will be saying the usual I have lots to talk about but not enough hours in the day to get back to people.

I will get there for sure.

I am hoping for a snow day that way I will not go out.

Today I had to go to the dentist and they had me in that chair 90 minutes just to clean my teeth. Then they decided to do X-rays. It takes a while because my front teeth were knocked out at 9 years old and I swallowed them. So there are some annoying issues with my jaw.

Just maybe I use it too much, who knows.
All I know is it is bed time.

HUGS my wonderful Spark friends. You help me through so many situations. Thanks for the support. Pat in Maine, emoticon emoticon emoticon

We drove home from Kansas yesterday with Storm Q right behind us all of the way. Now Storm Q is at our doorstep and we are so grateful to be home and out of storm. I had a doctor's appointment this morning so made it to and from without any problems. We are having what is called "Thunder Snow" which produces Thunder and lightening and heavier snow falls. It is really strange. We have about 7" inches on the ground right now and it is still falling heavy. So thankful we are home and have no place to go for the next few days. Our Son and DIL just called. They both got to come home early so we are also thankful they are home safe and sound.

Sis is doing great. She is being discharged next week. Rich and I will go pick her up on Wednesday. I will either stay with her for a couple of days or she will come here for a couple of days. We are "counting our many blessings" as she has come so very far. God is so good.

How are things with you? How is Fred?

    Take care and Hugs, Sunny

We have had wintry weather today; it was raining sleet and freezing rain and we had thunder freezing rain here in SW Missouri. I was so concerned about the power going out, but it did not and I am thankful for that.

My cousin lives in Olathe, KS and had had 12.5 inches of snow in the past few hours - less than a day - and they were forecasted to be getting at least 4 more. One of the grandsons lives in Kansas City, MO and they had had 12 inches of snow.

DH and I actually left the house a bit ago and the temperature has raised just enough that our roads about town where there has been traffic are just slushy and if one goes slowly, they are okay.

I hope to read that this was a good day for you.

I hope you got your snow day.
Believe it or not, my mouth is not very big, so I understand your annoyance with getting Xrays.
No need to respond. I've been too busy as well. Sorry I don't get to all your blogs. I got a laptop for home yesterday, so I should be around more. I sure need to!

Pat..I have to agree with CathyinLA about the neck and shoulder pain. I sit in front of a computer at work all day and then come home and the same thing. I have issues with neck and right shoulder discomfort on occasion. But we do so enjoy your blogs!! I found a good way to relieve the neck and shoulder discomfort right here on SPark. I hold my 5 lb hand weights at my side and then shrug my shoulders several times. It really works!!

I second the opinion . . . not necessary to answer each and every posting. You'll run out of steam and you DO have a life. So, relax, do what you can and let the rest go.

HUGS and hope it's a good day for DH and you. Glad the dental appt. is done and over with! I would rather have 10 physicals, than one dental visit! LOL

You are doing Great. I Love reading your blogs everyday. You have a life outside of Spark. You can see and talk to people in Person. Which is more fulfiling then posting to People You have never met I think. I go for days without seeing anyone. Have no Friends so have no company at all. People scare me anyway. So enjoy your walking Buddies and Friends when You Can. God Blessings to You and Everyone. Have a Lovely Day. Take Care of Yourself and DH. Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel the need to respond to each and every posting. You do have a life outside of Spark and that is the most important thing. We simply enjoy reading your blog. Too much typing equals shoulder and neck pain so be careful and restrict your time on the computer. Better to be outside or exercising or talking to someone in person.

    Take care.
