Just getting the SNOW off my chest!! (w/pictures)

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Okay - I KNOW that everyone is sick of hearing me talk about ALLLLLLL the snow we've gotten. I know, I'm sick of hearing it myself. But, just for effect, I decided to post a blog in pictures showing you exactly what we've got going on here!

First of all - this is a picture of my house during Halloween a few years ago. No snow anywhere.

Now here's a picture showing what it looks like across the street from my house back in January:

Nice enough, right? Then - yesterday happened:

And then, I finally got the rest cleared out today:

And just to remind us why we live here, the sun came out making the snow look all sparkly and pretty, and I couldn't stay mad too long!

Have a GREAT day!!

They are predicting snow here in the valley tonight and up to 13" in the mountains. I am from Michigan, so accustomed to snow, but live in mountainous Oregon now. Snow and mountain roads are far from fun! Spring is coming! emoticon

Oh my gosh, that's a ton of snow. I am not going to complain about the 6 inches we got today. In comparison to what you've got, it's peanuts! emoticon

Thanks for sharing. All my life I have been living in hot countries and snow is few and far between. I love your pictures. For me it is fantastic. I would so love to just once experience snow like this. I just see the pretty and don't ever think about the nuisance.

Beautiful! My husband's dream come true! I would enjoy watching from indoors. God always has a way of showing us the positive side of a difficult situation! That's why the snow sparkles and can look so pristine and beautiful!

Love the Copper Country and all it's snowy goodness!! We didn't get anywhere near the snow you did. Hope it's all manageable by the time we come up this weekend. Hugs!!! emoticon emoticon

The last two storms have left us with rain, sleet, snow mix. I sure to enjoy the bright sun off newly fallen snow. Just don't like shoveling it!
