It wasn't until yesterday that I started to feel good about myself again. What sparked this? When I first signed up with SP in December I had my boyfriend take two "before" pictures of me; one from the front and one from the side, in a red shirt. I had forgotten about these pictures until I dug out the same red shirt from my dresser drawer, put it on and noticed it felt more loose than it has in a LONG time (It's a maternity shirt, after all). I'm sure you can see where this is going. I donned the red shirt, stood in the same place I had in the previous pictures and he snapped two more of me in the same positions. This is where I noticed it; the weight I had lost. I haven't lost much since mid-December, just a total of 8 lbs, and I realize I must be measuring myself incorrectly because comparing the pictures side by side, I seem to have shrunk by a good bit!
This is the motivation I've been yearning for!
FINALLY!! It was looking like I have been counting calories and working out for nothing and this is EXACTLY what I've needed! This awesome little boost has also done something I never thought possible: I think I may be starting to (dun-dun-duuun) ENJOY working out!
I owe my newly shrunken physique to Zumba.
