The Happiness Challenge Day 6
***** 3 gratitudes **********
I am thankful for my Mom. Today is her birthday and I am very lucky both my parents are still around.

I am thankful for snow days. I really did not want to go anywhere today after such a hectic day yesterday.

I am thankful for Skype. I was able to do my meeting for today over Skype and am reading to pitch our Celebrating through Music theme unit for Integrating Indigenous themes K-12 class.

***** Journaling **********
Yesterday my Integrated Arts group got together to work on an interactive art exhibit about the growing epidemic of childhood obesity and the purposeful confusion of healthy options in advertising. We are each displaying a scrapbook page about our relationship with food, then a poster made in the shape of a dollar sign of “lite” or “diet” foods, and ending in a video. We are each personifying a diet and doing a showdown which will show the pros and cons of popular diets. We had a good planning session and I think the project is going to be awesome.

***** Exercise **********
Lower body workout

***** Meditation **********

***** RAK **********
Being Mom’s birthday I made a birthday cake and supper tonight.

You know you’re 80’s old school when you knew that Atari, IntelliVision, Telstar and Coleco were the ultimate gaming systems to own. - I had a cheap gaming system and played American Football, Baseball and a shooting robot game. I loved visiting my cousin who had an Atari and we could play Pac-Man and a game where you shot toothpaste at teeth before burgers, fries, cookies, cakes, and other treats got to it.

Happy Birthday to your mom! I am blessed to have both my parents still, too. We went to Hawaii with them last summer. It was fun! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day! emoticon
