2013: Starting Again

Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Life can sure throw you come curveballs! But the main this is do you move out of the way or do you get hit hard by that curveball? I got hit a couple of times but then I learned to move out of the way! Sometimes I even CAUGHT it! LOL Any way, after spending 3 weeks with family in Indiana (not working out at all, eating whatever I wanted), it all caught up to me. I gained back almost all of the weight I had previously lost. I am SO disappointed in myself. But I haven't given up. I've gotten back on that horse and I'm full speed ahead!

I spent 3 weeks in Indiana with family. So I ate whatever and did not exercise at all. Needless to say I re-gained almost all of the previously lost weight. But now that I am back home and can get to my YMCA, I'm back on the horse with more determination. I have 6 months to get down at least 50 lbs. That's my goal.

So, anyone and everyone please feel free to share your advice on what has worked for you. I'm open to trying something new. I know its not all about what I do exercise wise, but also what I eat. Its a matter of math really. How much can I burn vs. how much I consume. Everyone's body is different and everyone's metabolism is different and this I know.

I think I should go back to the water. I lost 20lbs in a month doing that and changing/watching what I ate. So that might be something more beneficial to me. Maybe water and the treadmill/bike will help.

We are going back to Pittsburgh in August so I've GOT to get this weight off of me. I want to be able to sit in the stadium seats comfortably. So I have my work cut out for me!

New stats are:
Neck: 15.5
Arm: 18
Chest: 42.5
Bust: 49.5
Waist: 45
Thigh: 32.5
Calf: 20
Weight: 331.4
